Actor PATRICK FUGIT couldn't believe his luck in new film ALMOST FAMOUS - he had a sex scene with his childhood dream-girl.

Fugit plays a rock'n'roll writer in CAMERON CROWE's film, and loses his virginity to a to a trio of groupies - one of whom is gorgeous THE CRAFT actress FAIRUZA BALK.

He explains, "When I was six-years-old, I saw RETURN TO OZ, in which Fairuza played DOROTHY. I was in love with Dorothy. For a couple of years, I slept with my head on a Dorothy pillow.

"Even though Fairuza is now this really sexy woman, she'll always be Dorothy to me. The moment I met her, I told her I was her biggest fan and Return to Oz was my favourite movie.

"It was really weird when we filmed the sex scene. All I could think was that I was making out with Dorothy.
