Katie plans to join Tom on MI3 set

Katie Holmes is planning to join boyfriend Tom Cruise on the set of Mission Impossible III which begins filming in Italy next month.

But, she remains coy about whether she'll actually appear in the movie.

The 26-year-old former Dawson's Creek star told www.scifi.com she met with director JJ Abrams and added: "I'm going to be on the set of MI3. I'm very excited about that."

According to the New York Post, Holmes, who is now living with Cruise at his Beverly Hills mansion, has stopped talking to many of her old friends who are not into her new religion, the Church of Scientology.
