MEN IN BLACK star WILL SMITH took on another role last week (28SEP00) - as real-life daring firefighter.

Smith, who's in training to play MOHAMMED ALI in the big screen bio-pic, had to put some of his recently acquired muscles to the test when his housekeeper discovered a fire in the bathroom. And wife JADA PINKETT SMITH thinks her new macho husband is great. She says, "He has gone under quite a transformation, it's unbelievable.

The woman who works at our house opens the door and there's a big ball of fire in the bathroom. "So Will jumps over the coffee table, jumps into the bathroom and he's like, 'Oh my god, this is a big fire, Jada, leave the building immediately!' and he's just standing there looking at it."So I'm going, 'Just get the fire extinguisher'.
