Osscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is tipped to be named Citizen of the World by the United Nations next month.
The Moulin Rouge star, 37, will be handed the award by Secretary-General Kofi Annan for her humanitarian efforts on behalf of the UN.
Earlier this year Nicole starred in the movie The Interpreter, which was filmed at the UN headquaters in New York.
During breaks, she mingled with ambassadors and UN officials reports the Mirror.
The film, which also stars Sean Penn is due to be releaed in the US this month.
