Uma signs up for romantic comedy


Uma Thurman has agreed to take the lead role in the romantic comedy Prime.

The role was orignally taken by Sandra Bullock who withdrew from the project over script approval issues.

Annie Parisse who starred in Monster-in-Law has also joined the cast to play Katherine, the best friend of Thurman's character.

The Hollywood Reporter says Thurman plays a woman who falls in love with the son (Bryan Greenberg) of her therapist (Meryl Streep).
