Ralph Fiennes is to play Voldemort in the next Harry Potter movie, the Goblet of Fire.

Warner Bros also announced that Miranda Richardson will play malevolent journalist Rita Skeeter.

A magic spell meant for a baby meant Harry Potter's nemesis Voldemort did not appear in the flesh in the first three film instalments.

As Comingsoon.net reports, several new cast members are to appear in the Goblet of Fire.

These include Frances De La Tour, who will play the Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Roger Lloyd-Pack, who will appear as the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
