Studio bosses behind the 2003 version of the Italian Job are now planning a sequel.
Producer John Goldwyn is working on the sequel for Paramount Pictures, reports Variety.
The 2003 version of the Italian Job starred Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron and Edward Norton.
It was inspired by the 1969 Michael Caine film but was not a remake as the plot was different.
Variety says the plot for the sequel is still being worked out but that St Tropez, Paris and the Swiss Alps are being eyed as the primary shooting locations.
