ABC Takes Back Sunday Night

Without the competition from Tiger Woods that it had to face last week, ABC regained the top ratings spot Sunday night with the help of hefty ratings for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and The Practice.

The Regis Philbin quiz show earned a 14.8 rating and a 22 share, while the legal drama posted a 10.0/16. ABC wound up averaging an 8.7/14 for the night, while CBS slipped to second with an 8.2/14.

Fox was in third place with a 5.2/8, while NBC was well back in fourth place with a 4.0/7 as it aired the arty Liam Neeson epic Rob Roy over three hours.
