Jacko's Disney Heights

Pop star Michael Jackson says that, like Walt Disney, he had a gift for creating family entertainment but lacked business skills.
Jackson, giving evidence in a $40 million lawsuit over cancelled millennium concerts, told a Santa Barbara court that he relied on agents, lawyers and accountants to handle his business affairs while he sang and danced.

"I'm a visionary and a creative person," he said in response to questions from his lawyer, Zia Modabber.

"God blessed me with certain talents," Jackson said. "I hate to use an analogy, but Walt Disney was creative but not good with business."

German promoter Marcel Avram is suing Jackson for breach of contract over the aborted shows.

Avram claims Jackson pulled out of Sydney and Honolulu concerts, costing him millions of dollars. Jackson says Avram cancelled the concerts.
