Winslet And Mendes Too Famous For NY
It's tough getting a flat in New York, as the Osbournes recently found out. Now Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have been denied in their attempt to purchase an NY pad. They couple wanted to buy a £1.8 million loft conversion in SoHo, but residents blocked the deal because the Kate and Sam are 'too famous'. No pleasing some people, eh? (Star)
