Husky-voiced Tara Reid was furious after being rejected as presenter for the VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards - because she was too unfashionable.

The American Pie (1999) star, 26, was expected to present at the awards show last year (2001), until bosses decided she didn't rate high enough on the fashion charts to deserve a slot.

Furious Reid rants, "It's true. They said I wasn't fashionable enough. They were like, maybe if we did a whole fashion makeover on her. But why do I need a fashion makeover? Why are you going to create something that I'm not? I don't represent that. I think I have a good style. I do. I'm not going to change. People say, You've got to be more glamorous. But I'm not Gwyneth Paltrow. And I don't care that I'm not Gwyneth Paltrow."
