Tom Hanks Is Number One

Tom Hanks is Hollywood's biggest movie star, according to film magazine's Premiere annual Power 100 List. The Cast Away (2000) star comes in at number 15 on the list - ahead of Tom Cruise (16) and Mel Gibsom (17).

Movie maker Steven Spielberg stays put at number six. Surprises on the list include George Clooney pushing past Russell Crowe and the fact that Meg Ryan doesn't feature this year. The top two overall names this year are Aol Time Warner and HBO bosses Richard Parsons and Robert Pitman.
