British screen star HUGH GRANT has hit out at TOM CRUISE for posing topless in a magazine. The VANILLA SKY (2001) hunk stripped off for the front cover of Vanity Fair magazine - even though he has suffered past speculation about his sexuality. And Grant has criticised Cruise's decision to peel off - accusing him of being unmanly, even though he appeared topless himself in a British magazine last year (2001).
Speaking in American magazine W, the NOTTING HILL (1999) star says, "You wouldn't get me posing topless like Tom Cruise on that magazine cover. There's something not quite manly about that. " In a candid interview, Hugh also revealed he hasn't given up on the prospect of marriage - even though he has remained single since his split from ELIZABETH HURLEY two years ago (2000). He says, "I personally have thought it, marriage was imminent, just around the corner. I was with Elizabeth for 14 years. I'm not exactly your classic lost cause. "
