MTV personality Carson Daly has immersed himself in hard work to get over his recent break from aMERICAN PIE (1999) beauty TARA REID. The TV heart-throb, who has also dated sexy Hollywood actress JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, was devastated after splitting from his blonde fiancee Reid last year (01), but was able to recover from the trauma by working harder than usual.

He says, "After I went through my last departure, I found that a good way to get over a tough time in your life is to saturate yourself with work. I have a place to focus my energy. " But Daly admits that his newfound hardworking lifestyle will do very little to get him a new girlfriend. He notes, "I'd probably make a pretty lousy boyfriend right now. " (RGS/PE/NFA)
