OSCAR-winning heart-throb NICHOLAS CAGE has donated $210,000 (£140,000) to cash-strapped actors caught up in a strike over payment for TV adverts.
The GONE IN 60 SECONDS star has made the biggest donation yet to the SCREEN ACTORS GUILD FOUNDATION (SAG) so far. HARRISON FORD and KEVIN SPACEY have also donated large amounts to the fund.
Cage explains, "The union has stood by me and I stand by it." (JM/WNTEX)
