Minnie Driver's recent appendectomy may prevent her from costarring with Michael Flatley in his biopic Lord of the Dance, due to begin shooting in Ireland next month, the British online publication Ananova reported Wednesday.

Driver was reportedly stricken while filming High Heels & Low Lives at Ealing Studios in England. Ananova quoted a friend as saying, "The operation held things up and doctors have advised her to rest as much as possible. She may not be in the best condition to make back-to-back movies."
