Hollywood cool guys JOHN TRAVOLTA and SAMUEL L. JACKSON are in to talks to team up again for new military drama BASIC.

The movie tells the story of HARDY, an American Drug Enforcement Administration agent (Travolta) who is brought in to investigate the mysterious disappearance of WEST (Jackson), a legendary Army Ranger drill instructor, and several of his cadets during a training exercise gone horribly awry. The pair last worked together on the hit cult flick PULP FICTION (1994).

The film originally had director LEE TAMAHORI and BENICIO DEL TORO attached to the project. But when the it failed to move forward, the filmmaker and actor dropped out. The movie will now be directed by JOHN MCTIERNAN. Shooting is slated to begin 26 November in Florida, America, and Panama. (RP/WNWCYA)
