SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS has been checking out his new movie in a bid to cope with the terrorist attack on America on September 11 (01). And the Welsh actor, who became an American citizen last year (01), admits the new movie, HEARTS in ATLANTIS (2001), is just what people need to feel better about the world.

He says, "After the tragedy everything seemed so inconsequential. I'd like to think that this film will hopefully bring some solace and peace to people. It reminds you that when you're young you're living in some magical place, and then you grow up and your heart splits in two. " (KL/WNV/RP)
