Comic actor JERRY VAN DYKE is retiring after nearly 40 years in showbusiness. The 70-year-old brother of DICK VAN DYKE, played LUTHER VAN DAM for nine years on the television sitcom COACH.

His daughter JERRI, who runs JERRY VAN DYKE'S SODA SHOP in Benton, says her father is moving from Denton, America, to Mexico. But he plans to keep his soda shop, which is decorated with posters, photographs and other memorabilia from his acting career (KMW/WNWCNT)
