ANGELINA JOLIE and BILLY BOB THORNTON are making tentative plans to adopt a Cambodian baby. Jolie, who has recently become a UN (UNITED NATIONS) GOODWILL AMBASSADOR, is so inspired by the work of her heroine AUDREY HEPBURN that she wants to do all she can for children.

A pal of the TOMB RAIDER (2001) actress says, "She's no Audrey Hepburn by any stretch of the imagination, with all her bizarre tattoos and her unconventional relationship with Billy Bob. But as a young girl growing up as the daughter of Hollywood legend JON VOIGHT, Angelina was moved by Audrey's work with the UN and she's always loved kids. "

Jolie has just returned from a trip to Sierra Leone and Cambodia with the UN, and while on her travels one particular boy caught her eye. The mate says, "The boy's mother had just left him outside the home one night, completely abandoned.
