American cinema companies have closed theatres in the wake of yesterday's (11SEP01) tragic events in New York and Washington.
As the nation waits with bated breath to see if GEORGE W BUSH will take action against those who perpetrated the terrorist attacks, cinemas owned by LOEWS CINEPLEX ENTERTAINMENT, AMC THEATRES, MANN THEATRES, PACIFIC THEATRES, UNITED ARTISTS and REGAL CINEMAS have all shut their doors.
A spokesman for Pacific Theatres says, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone as we all deal with the aftermath of these horrific actions. " (BRC/HR/NFA)
