JASON MEWES who plays stoner JAY in the movie JAY AND SILENT BOB strike back (2001) has landed in some drug trouble himself. In February (01) the actor pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle.

Now New Jersey authorities are going after Mewes for apparently missing several meetings with his probation officer. If found guilty of breaking his probation the actor could go to jail. But despite his problems, Mewes seems happy to play drug role after drug role - he's seen smoking a joint in the video to AFROMAN's drug homage BECAUSE I GOT HIGH. (SVD/U/IG)
