BEN STILLER and VINCE VAUGHAN are taking their new STARSKY AND HUTCH movie so seriously that they're working through the weekend to make sure it's up to scratch. The pair met up at Los Angeles eatery RED over the weekend (25AUG01) to thrash out ideas and thoughts along with one of the movie's executives, running through the script and adding ideas.

The movie's working title is USED GUYS, and although filming is yet to be scheduled, the stars are obviously very excited about the project. A fellow diner says, "They were having a huge lunch meeting. They were sat there for about three hours pouring over the script. They're both obviously very passionate about the film because their conversations were just getting louder and louder and more excited. " (SVD/WN/KW)
