TOM CRUISE showed his affection for new love Penélope Cruz by accompanying her to the American premiere of CAPTAIN CORELLI'S MANDOLIN (2001).

In July (01) the Spanish stunner's manager confirmed Penelope and Tom were a couple, just a week after the actress had denied the rumours. The actor's divorce from NICOLE KIDMAN became final last week (ends12AUG01).
