Nashville Net Moving To New York

Viacom's TNN network, born as The Nashville Network and originally featuring wall-to-wall videos of country-music performers as well as live programming from The Grand Ole Opry, plans to drop much of its country format, move to New York and change its name to The National Network, according to published reports. (The reports did not indicate how the similarly named National Broadcasting Co. -- NBC ---regarded the planned name change.)
