Apes Get Depressed On Film Set
HELENA BONHAM CARTER was depressed and bored whilst in makeup on the set of PLANET OF THE APES (2001). The actress claims that between scenes, there was nothing to do except stand completely still.
"I was about to start a support group like in FIGHT CLUB, Bonham Carter giggles. 'Apes Anonymous' - people talking about the agony of sitting still for four hours in the makeup chair. There were a lot of depressed apes. " (AW/WNSIN/NFA)
