He impressed audiences with his singing talents in movies MOULIN ROUGE (2001) - but EWAN McGREGOR says he is happy to stick to acting.

The Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) actor says he developed a taste for singing in movies such as Moulin and VELVET GOLDMINE (1998), and he's even recorded a number of tracks - but he could never be a serious pop star.

The Scot confesses, "I love recording, but I'm not going to sign up with anybody. I want to avoid all that having to answer to people in the studio, and having to knock an album out by a certain date. " (IG/WNTRE/ES)
