John Travolta's Marathon Jet Trip
JOHN TRAVOLTA has just completed a whopping 25,000 mile (40,232km) round trip in his own jumbo jet - to promote his movie SWORDFISH (2001) around the world.
Although the star was accompanied by two pilots, Travolta did some of the flying himself. At one point he gave his Australian co-star HUGH JACKMAN a lift from Melbourne to Sydney in the cockpit of the huge Boeing 707 plane.
The studio behind the movie, WARNER BROS, paid the bill for the jet fuel. (SVD/PE/PDD)
