Hollywood legend DENNIS HOPPER was so scared that his hotel would blow down in a hurricane he moved into a stone hut.

The actor was appearing in Blue Velvet (1986) in North Carolina when he heard that the area was about to be hit by a hurricane.

Fearful that the HOLIDAY INN he was staying in would not withstand the tremendous wind, he packed his suitcases and moved into a stone hut up the road. (PDD/MHF)
