Movie star BRUCE WILLIS has put his career on hold to care for his younger brother ROBERT during the last stages of his battle with cancer. The big-hearted star flew to Boston, America, to meet Robert on his discharge from hospital after surgery and took him back with him to his Los Angeles mansion, where he'll receive treatment as an outpatient.

Medics say his chances of survival are remote and he has been sent home to die. Father-of-three Bruce, whose sister has also battled cancer, says, "Unfortunately, my brother has pancreatic cancer. We would appreciate it if everyone would respect our privacy and allow us some dignity. " Tragic Robert once attempted suicide after a drinking binge. (LE/WNTSU/KW)
