Will Harrison Ford Play Indiana Jones Ever Again?
HARRISON FORD will not be reprising his INDIANA JONES role as planned next year (02) - or possibly ever.
INDY 4 was slated to be the Hollywood actor's 2002 starring vehicle.
Initially, SIXTH SENSE, the (1999) film-maker M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN had reportedly been enlisted to script the movie, and then TRAFFIC (2000) screenwriter STEPHEN GAGHAN was in talks to take on the project.
But, according to reports, GEORGE LUCAS has yet to finalise a deal for the picture with PARAMOUNT, and until he does, a writer can't even be hired. Ford is currently wrapping up his new film K-19: THE WIDOWMAKER (2001) in Nova Scotia, Canada. (RGS/LADN/ES)
