Pop queen MADONNA is stripping off again - for a new range of condoms.
America's NEW YORK MAGAZINE claims a pharmaceutical company in Europe has bought the rights to use nude photos of the raunchy BEAUTIFUL STRANGER star on its safe-sex products.
Already a hot item in Europe and Japan, about 50,000 of the Madonna condoms are making their way to the United States.
The product recently went on sale at CONDOMANIA in New York. A saleswoman at the shop says, "We had them in, but they sold out fast. We expect to be getting more. "
The naked shots were snapped by photographer MARTIN SCHREIBER in 1979 when Madonna was a struggling artist taking odd jobs to make a quick buck. The photos were first sold to PLAYBOY magazine in 1985 after Madonna's career skyrocketed with hits like HOLIDAY.
The MATERIAL GIRL had no problem with Playboy using the images at the time and admitted she signed a standard photographer's release. But she's now said to be furious that Schreiber has licensed them for condoms.
A rep for Madonna's U. S. licenser says, "They're an unauthorized product, and we're considering legal action. They're not official. " (MCM/WNWCPS)
