JON VOIGHT and ANGELINA JOLIE got so emotional working together on TOMB RAIDER (2001) they had to be kept apart so they could complete their scenes.

Voight plays Jolie's father in the movie, and at one stage has to reunite with his daughter for the first time in years. Jolie admits the scene was shockingly emotional for both of them, and the only way they could eventually control themselves and finish the scene, was to be separated from each other.

She says, "John and I could not stop crying. We had to stop takes and we'd walk away. We didn't meet between takes until we'd shot that scene. Then we kind of hugged each other. " (SVD/WNV/RP)
