OSCAR-winner EMMA THOMPSON is planning to keep her super short hairdo after having her locks lopped for her latest movie.

The British actress loves the look she adopted for her new film WIT and has no intention of letting her tresses grow back. She says, "Big hair's more glamorous but this is practical. Longer shows too much grey and you must tint all the time. " (HJ/WNSMA/KW)
