Spanish sexbomb Penélope Cruz is in talks to play the wife of the American president in the new thriller CAPITOL OFFENCE.

The film's plot will see the First Lady put in the hot seat after her husband is kidnapped by terrorists. The Vice President then has a heart attack and the President's wife is forced to make life-or-death decisions.
