Hollywood actress KIRSTEN DUNST in adamant she will undergo the transformation from child to adult actor successfully.
VIRGIN SUICIDES, the (1999) star, currently filming Spider-Man (2002) opposite TOBEY MAGUIRE, has made 30 films since her screen debut in LITTLE WOMEN (1994) as a young girl.
And 19-year-old Kirsten is aware of the pitfalls of finding fame at an early age, learning from the plight of stars like MACAULAY CULKIN, who's failed to achieve the same success as he did at a young teenager in HOME ALONE (1990).
She says, "I've been in show business since I was a little girl. I grew up in front of the camera. So I know more than anyone about the pressures that are out there. I've been able to make the transition from child to adult actor, so I've been lucky. I have grown up in front of audiences and I think because I've done television such as ER, it has helped people to accept me. " (ES/WNSMAS/KW)
