MATT DAMON is set to shoot a low-budget movie called JERRY for British film company FILMFOUR.
Details of the project are currently under wraps, but the actor is re-teaming with his GOOD WILL HUNTING (1997) director GUS VAN SANT for the project - with a quoted budget of just $7 million (£4. 6 million).
The movie will star Damon and CASEY AFFLECK in a story described by one distributor as "two guys in the desert". No script has been given out, but there will be a strong element of improvisation, recalling Van Sant's early style with films, such as DRUGSTORE COWBOY (1989). (RGS/DV/NFA)
