Pearl Harbor Posters Go Missing

PEARL HARBOR (2001) is a huge hit before it's even opened - all the film's promotional posters are being stolen off bus stops.

In New York, almost 30 percent of the posters put up to advertise the BEN AFFLECK film have gone missing. They mimic the artwork of Second World War propaganda posters - and are already being sold for more than $250 (£166. 66) on internet auction site EBAY.

A spokesman for BUENA VISTA says, "Frankly, we're just flattered that people want to own them, even if they are reduced to thievery. " (RP/WNWCAN/NFA)
