FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON dealt with her parents' divorce by becoming a punk rocker.

The stunning actress, 32, who is married to BRAD PITT, says that her parents divorced when she was nine but it was only when she hit her early teens that she really began to rebel and would do "crazy things" with her hair.

Aniston says, "When I was 14 or 15, I dated this punk rocker, so I shaved my hair into a modified mohawk and had all these earrings and rubber bracelets - I was just the ugliest thing. "My parents used to scream at me for only wearing black. Looking back, I realise my boyfriend and I looked exactly alike!"

And Aniston, who went on to have her Friends character Rachel's haircut copied by Friends fans all over the world, says that she first realised she had a flair for comedy to substitute for being ugly.

She says, "Since I wasn't beautiful, I had to be funny. I was always clowning around and getting into trouble. I figured if I was bad enough, both my parents would have to come to the principal's office. It was my way of bringing them back together again." (LE/YM/PDD)
