Movie Reviews: The Art Of War

The Art of War, starring Wesley Snipes, is being shelled by the critics. "A dog for the dog days of summer," writes Joe Morgenstern in the Wall Street Journal.

Geoff Pevere in the Toronto Star observes that if "war is hell," then this movie is "hell on plot, hell on credibility and hell on basic good sense."

Glenn Whipp in the Los Angeles Daily News finds the script "brainless" and concludes: "The script has its characters spouting a never-ending parade of cliches, apparently hoping that one of them sticks and becomes a catchphrase. Let us just say, that'll be the day, and then let sleeping dogs lie."
