Still, the numbers were good enough to lead ABC to a win for the night. CBS was in second place, averaging a 7.2/11, followed by NBC with a 6.7/11. UPN, which offered up a menu of first-run, black-oriented comedies took over fourth place with a 4.6/7, beating out Fox, which could muster only a 3.2/5.
