Hollywood hardman CLINT EASTWOOD is looking to resurrect his most famous character - in Scotland.

Movie sources claim the UNFORGIVEN (1992) star plans to revive his legendary detective DIRTY HARRY (1971), and favours a Scottish plotline for the final film in the series.

The plot is likely to feature Harry exploring his Scottish CALLAHAN roots after his retirement. But the film may take a while to come to fruition - as the current Foot and Mouth crisis halts filming in the British countryside. (NFA/WNTSP/RP)
