The team behind Chicken Run (2000) are bringing their animated characters Wallace & Gromit to Hollywood for their debut feature film.
British based AARDMAN PRODUCTIONS have struck a deal with STEVEN SPIELBERG's DREAM WORKS company to make a $37.5 million (£25 million) full-length movie featuring the man and dog comedy duo.
And ARTHUR SHERIFF, a spokesman for Aardman, reassures fans of the pair - who have appeared in shorter televised films - that Wallace and Gromit will stay true to their established characters. He says, "All the little touches that make Wallace and Gromit so special will stay."
OSCAR-winning Aardman boss NICK PARK is already working on a script for the as-yet untitled 90-minute feature - which is due for release next year (02).
