Staff at TOM CRUISE's favourite beauty spa had a last minute panic when their famous client was due to arrive - because the magazines in their waiting room were full of stories about his divorce.

Cruise, who has been keeping a very low public profile since he filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years NICOLE KIDMAN earlier this month (FEB01), is still taking care of his skin. But his regular visits to his Beverly Hills beauty salon are putting the staff in a spin. One worker admits, "His divorce was on the front page of all the magazines this week, so just before he arrived we shoved them all under the pillows on the chairs.
