HOLLYWOOD HEART-THROB RUSSELL CROWE has set tongues wagging about his close friend actress JODIE FOSTER.

Russell spends a lot of time with SILENCE OF THE LAMBS star Jodie and comments he has made about his band's song OTHER WAYS OF TALKING have led gossips to ask whether the song is about his single mum pal.

The GLADIATOR star says of the tune, "It's about meeting somebody that you think you could easily fall in love with but they play for a different team."
