Sexy superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ has fired the bodyguard who was caught carrying drugs across the border into Canada.

Even though customs officials at the Toronto airport decided not to arrest the man, J-LO has reportedly fired him for giving her another legal scare.

The singer-actress and her entourage were detained for hours earlier this month (11FEB01) after a drug-sniffing dog discovered that one of her minders had cannabis packed in his socks. Canadian authorities decided to go easy on the bodyguard, deciding there wasn't enough drugs on him to prosecute, but Lopez, eager to distance herself from any legal problems at the moment has taken matters into her own hands.
