Non-American Stars Cash In On Planned Hollywood Strike

LATEST: LIZ HURLEY, RUSSELL CROWE and GEOFFREY RUSH are among the movie stars set to cash in on the forthcoming Hollywood writers strike - because they've found a loophole which can help them labour through it.

British actress Hurley, who was labelled a "scab" for breaking a SCREEN ACTORS GUILD strike last year (00), can now legitimately work through the next one because foreign actors and actresses are exempt.

Foreign-financed and filmed movies without Hollywood distribution deals complete can still go ahead this summer (01), when the latest strike is expected to bring America to a standstill. (KL/U/RP)
