John Hurt: Cruz Is Just Cuddly
JOHN HURT has leapt to the defence of Spanish stunner PENELOPE CRUZ as she battles claims she broke up TOM CRUISE's marriage to NICOLE KIDMAN.
Cruise and Cruz were spotted hugging on the set of their new movie VANILLA SKY, fuelling talk that the pair are romantically involved. But Hurt, the WOMAN ON TOP actress's co-star in CAPTAIN CORELLI'S MANDOLIN, says Penelope is just an affectionate woman. He says, "Penelope is a very affectionate woman and just because she puts her arm around Tom Cruise doesn't mean she is having an affair with him.
