Films Bearing Pop.com Logo Arrive On The Web

What might have been had Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard's Pop.com materialized is being exhibited on the Countingdown Web site by two shorts created by the directors.

Appearing on camera at the beginning of them, Spielberg and Howard proceed to describe what they say are their two most vivid and memorable dreams. Spielberg's dream -- his description is accompanied by animated images -- concerns eating verboten foods (although his mother runs a kosher dairy restaurant in West Los Angeles, Spielberg loads up on such things as hamburgers and ham in his dream); Howard's dream (voiced over a blank screen; presumably the images have yet to be created) concerns an embarrassing attempt to shoot a nude love scene for a movie.
