OSCAR winner JODIE FOSTER has come to the rescue of panic stricken producers by agreeing replace NICOLE KIDMAN in THE PANIC ROOM.
Kidman, who started shooting the thriller last month (JAN01), was forced to drop out after just two weeks of filming because of a knee injury. Now Foster, who has become available since her directing project FLORA PLUM got derailed when star RUSSELL CROWE injured his shoulder, is in negotiations to step into Kidman's shoes. (LE/DV/CPT)
